Dawn Whyte
Dawn Whyte, founder and Principal Designer of Designs by Dawn, is an American Interior Designer specializing in residential Kitchen and Bath. Since it’s inception in 2001, Designs by Dawn has grown from a boutique Interior Design firm to an iconic brand. Driven by the pursuit of excellence, the Michigan based designer has been designing nationally recognized spaces indoors and out since the late 90’s. Based on the design philosophy that your home should be both functional and beautiful, Whyte has spent her career creating that balance for her clients.
Lindsey Young
Design Associate Lindsey Young brings ten years of experience to Lake Street Design Studio. A 2008 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an emphasis in Interior Design, Young compliments the design team with her many strengths. “I like the artistic side of putting projects together,” Young says. Young is a master of all aspects of bringing a design to life. Writing proposals, drafting Auto CAD models, or meeting with clients to determine objectives or materials, Young is a dynamic and integral part of the team. “I like helping people to create that warmer, more pulled together atmosphere,” Young says of the team’s goals. Principal Designer Dawn Whyte says, “Lindsey knows what needs to happen next,” in the process, and “She’s solution oriented.” The married mother of two young sons, Young delights in gardening and painting when not working. Her attention to detail and intuitive understanding of the design process make her a vital member of the Lake Street Design team.
